What did you choose? Today's card is made with the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set and Sycamore Street DSP, both are among the items that you could choose from for your FREE gift when you place a £45 order
Shades of rich razzleberry, summer starfruit and pool party with a little paper piercing. Call me or email to place your order.
Less than 2 weeks to go now until the Make It show which is held at Farnborough Airport.
This year's event is 1 - 3 March and I'll be on the Stampin' Up! stand with some other lovely ladies.
Here's the promotional description of who we are and what we do:

I've been so busy that it seems ages since Sale-a-bration started, but it's only been 26 days - less than a whole month! With that in mind I've got another card from my baggy books to show you today. What are baggy books? Well, they're sets of cards made up using each of the sale-a-bration stamp sets, put into cello bags and slipped together like a book. If you're short on ideas as to what you can do with a set or unsure which free set to choose they're designed to give a shot of inspiration. Today's card showcases the Vintage Verses stamp set. I soooo hope that this eventually makes it into our next main catalogue. such a lovely set. But, as you may be aware, it may not, which means that this set won't be available after 22nd March. Woe will be me!.
Here the stamps have been paired up with a lucky limeade background which has been embossed with the houndstooth embossing folder, paper from the Twitterpated DSP pack and ink in real red, lucky limeade and basic grey stamped onto whisper white cardstock. If you ordered the products to make this card you could get the stamp set FREE, That's right, absolutely FREE. the product total is £46.05 which would then qualify you for a FREEBIE!!! On top of that you'd have enough goodies left to make heaps more cards. The stamp set comes with four other lovely phrases. Items I've used: A4 cardstock Whisper white In Colour 2011-2013 106549 £7.50 124331 £6.25 Houndstooth Embossing folder/Twitterpated DSP 123134 £7.50 125406 £9.95 Classic Stampin' Pads

I've 3 new ladies joining my team this month and thought a cheery little card would be a nice way to welcome them. The cards had to be reasonably quick to make as I'd been preparing for Denbies pamper event, which is how I came to use the lovely owl punch. So versatile, you can make lots of other things besides owls with it. You can see the design below - another of my 'fuzzifotos'.
Welcome to Pat, Pam and Kati, great to have you on board!
My Downline, Cathryn, has recently been promoted so I thought I should send a card to congratulate her. I wanted to try the chalkboard technique, so popular at the moment, and this is what I came up with:
An easel card to resemble a school blackboard. It didn't come out quite as I'd planned - I'd hoped for something a little more refined and ended up with a 'happy accident' kind of card. But the sentiment remains the same - "Congratulations".
I recently posted about the pamper day being held at Denbies Wine Estate. The event is taking place this coming Sunday - 10th February and it looks as if there are going to be some lovely stands there. I will be 'manning' a stall with my friend, Cary ( her blog with Gill can be found here: http://2biggirlscrafting.blogspot.co.uk/), we'll be sharing our love of Stampin' Up! products. There will be a 'lil 'ole' prize draw, always nice to get something for nothing! All are welcome to enter and it's FREE. Parking and entry are absolutely FREE!!!! So why not come along to see us, it's always good to see some familiar faces as well as meet new people. Bring your friends.
Hi, welcome to the first ever Stampin' Stars Blog Hop. You may have arrived here from Natalie's fab blog, didn't she have some good ideas! The focus is on our brand new Spring/Summer catalogue which is released today. As with all our catalogues it's jam-packed with all sorts of lovelies. So many, in fact, that it was difficult to choose which stamp set to feature. I've chosen By The Tide for it's nautical feel on my card. Here it is:
By The Tide
Available in both wood mount,129117 £24.95, and clear mount, 129120 £19.95. I really love this set,so have used it for both cards. Another new product is shown here - our coredinations paper in my out and out favourite, pool party, which I've lightly sanded. The fish appear more vibrant because they've been stamped onto gloss card. I've used In Colour 2011 - 2013 brads and 'window' acetate on my porthole, linen thread to wrap around the card and the Nantucket Bay stamp from the same set to resemble a 'seal'. All finished off with a sentiment from the Vintage Verses stamp set which is available as a freebie when you spend £45 on an order before 22nd March. The second card is using the same products in a different way. If you'd like a copy of the new catalogue please contact me. If you'd like to view online please click on the image below:
