March 'Thank You'

Each month I attempt to give a little tag or card to my Stampers 10 ladies with their order. Just occasionally, life takes over - but this month I've made a little card for them using two of my favourite stamps, one from Gorgeous Grunge and the other from the Happy day stamp set.
A one layer card (our super notecards, so good for tons of occasions), inked in Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake. Good old Crumb Cake, that colour just seems to go with everything and I only know of one person who doesn't like it. Oh boy! She really doesn't like it! Me, I love the shade.
Here's a close up...
With just the merest hint of bling. I like to give them without writing on them so that the recipient can choose to keep or send.
i do hope they like them!

Team Traaining Swaps

Today was our Team Training day. We always make a 'swap' for each team member attending, it's a lovely way to gather different samples which showcase our personal style. Having said that, mine doesn't resemble my personal style at all other than the 'loud' colours. Here they are ready to pack...
I wanted to use the stamps 'Happy Hour' but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to make. I had a little browse on the internet and saw a few things I liked - in particular those made by Dawn Olchefske and Erica Cerwin - but didn't want to CASE (copy and share everything) them totally.

I used a few ideas but put my own 'spin' on them. They're a little more 'frilly' looking than I'd like but were received well. I do like using the crystal effects on the glasses and all those umbrellas and pieces of fruit were cut by hand around midnight last night, so don't look too closely!
Let me know what you think...too frilly, okay, your taste???
I'll be back soon to show you the swaps I received.

Update For The Weekend

Hadn't realised that my last post was over a week ago - OOPS!
I spent last weekend at the Make It show, Farnborough. The ladies and projects on our Stampin' Up! stand seemed to be very popular. Thank you to all who visited, especially those who chose to join me in the classroom, also known by some, as the creche !
I've been making a few 'Thank you's' for my customers using the new Petite Petals bundle from the Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue.
Customer 'Thank You's ''
You may have already seen me use this set on my bendy card during our SAB Blog Hop. If not, you can see it here on the link below
This bundle is a bargain - 6 stamps in the set plus a matching punch all for £10.95 in clear mount/ £13.95 wood mount. Alternatively, the items are available separately. And don't forget, we're still in the middle of Sale-A-Bration (SAB) so every £45 you spend (not inc., p+p) will get you a FREEBIE! ........and who doesn't like FREE???
Here are some cards which I made for my baggy books to showcase one of the free stamp sets available - 'You're Lovely'.

This last one is my favourite, so simple but I love how the white pencil softly highlights areas of the stamped image.
What are your plans for the weekend? I'm off to a scrapbook retreat this afternoon, until Sunday. I'm in good company as there are about 7 of us going as a group. These are fun events where I get to get a bit inky and grungy to produce pages like this (still a work in progress)...

We're supposed to be having lovely weather so.whatever you're up to, enjoy it!
