At the recent retreat we were challenged to make a tag and a calendar. I'd wanted to get stuck into my scrapbooking so made a quick calendar by using Melon Mambo cardstock to make a neverending card stamped with gold leaves from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.
By making a neverending card, the calendar was able to stand unaided.
As you can see, it got a little battered after being stuck at the bottom of my bag and needs some TLC! I wanted my tag to be a little 'outside of the box'. I think you'd have struggled to get a box to put it in since I made it 12" x 12"! This will be great as a ready made scrapbook background page. I LOVED using our new masks and, the now retired, En Francais stamp, along with Kinda Eclectic - again (can you spot a recurring theme here!) and our new washi tape.
The final cards from Stamp Camp. And, I do have to say, two of my favourites. How many uses could this Tap Tap Tap set have! Background is the Dictionary stamp on Naturals Ivory cardstock, trimmed with the spiral edge Punch..
This is my favourite colour combo this season - Very Vanilla, Lost Lagoon and Crushed Curry. If I had my way these 3 colours would NEVER retire! This 'half easel' card features the train from the Traveller stamp set and greetings from Amazing Brithday stamp set. Embossing folder is Alphabet Press.
Items featured are available through me and can be viewed in our current catalogue. Link to online catalogue is in the lefthand column. For a paper copy to gloat over contact me - Lesley Lendon, phone 07725 217695 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Stampin' Stars Blog Hop starts today at 9am. As you may already know, our team likes to do a blog hop each time a new catalogue is released to showcase a selection of the new products available. I'm expecting a fabulous selection of projects from our talented team - there are 25 demonstrators taking part so you're in for a real treat! All you do to hop from one blog to another is to visit oneof the participating blogs (listed below) and use the buttons you see there to hop around. The buttons will look like these (please note, the buttons on this post are for illustrative purposes only):
Here is a list of all the participants, .........

Hi! A bit of Gorgeous Grunge for you today in Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake. Didn't have the butterly stamps and punches to hand to use so opted for, the now retired, Backyard Basics for my butterfly. You can't see clearly but the background has a soft shimmer/sheen which is from being sprayed with Vanilla Smooch.
How about this for a quick birthday card. Suitable for all, just change up the colour. Flame is the wing from the Bird Builder punch, greeting from Let Your Hair Down (a Hostess Set). Finish off with a bit of paper piercing, Voila!
Our first card shouts "Summer!" at you. Base card in Tangelo Twist, stamped with the new, so useful, Kinda Eclectic stamps.
A CASED card here. The original, by Louise Sims, used a self embossed cardstock featured in last years catalogue along with sequin trim. Here I used Versamark ink to create a watermark effect on the base card. Stamp set is Petite petals, paired with it's matching punch and the Scalloped Tag Top Punch.
Hope you get some inspiration with the cards posted. If you'd like to know more then contact me - Lesley Lendon at email@example.com or call 07725 217695. I look forward to hearing from you!
