Stampin' Creative Blog Hop

---------------------------------------------------

        HOSTESS CODE  S2HQA7AJ

----------------------------------------------------
Morning! Thank you for joining me today. If you've hopped here from Pip's super blog then I expect you're already storing her ideas for later use - I'm looking forward to hopping back to view her great creations and am sure I'm in for a treat. So let's get on....
Welcome to the latest Stampin' Creative Blog Hop.
This week has seen the release of our retirement lists, preparing the way for the new Annual catalogue. This also spells the end for our 2013-2015 In Colours. To see them out in style, the Stampin' Creative Blog Team have used the colour palette for this month's blog hop. This is their last hurrah!
I do have to confess - this bunch have not been my favourite, apart from Coastal Cabana, which I have used on the first card I'd like to show you today.
I wanted to achieve the appearance of a butterfly alighting on a hydrangea. I did experience difficulty getting the photo light enough, it doesn't show the soft shimmer on the butterfly which comes from smooch spritz - also retiring, as is the thick bakers twine.
After finishing the card, I started to prep some water bottles for tomorrow's all day Spring Papercraft Event using the same colour family. The photos below show them part finished.

I've one more card to share you. This one is using Baked Brown Sugar cardstock from the retiring colours. I actually quite like this colour. I've used the Mixed Bunch stamp set which is also retiring. It's a very simple card and, as with the first card, it's monochrome and I've used a favourite technique of mine - simple white pencil!
I do love the soft white pencil against this shade. As I say, a simple card but we all need simple cards, don't we!
Thanks for stopping by. The next blog is Kim's where you'll see her beautiful creations.  Just click on her name above to hop there. Should you need to go back to Pip's, or you simply like travelling backwards (!) then click on her name at the top of this post.

Another Tiny Gift To Mail

 ---------------------------------------------------

        HOSTESS CODE E2US7UHP

----------------------------------------------------
Yes, another tiny pressie to pop into the post, so a quick decorative fix made it look more interesting. I seem to have reverted to my practice of taking 'fuzzifoto's'!

Sorry, I can't tell you what's inside! Stamp set is World of Dreams, ink - Pool Party and Early Espresso, a small amount of Pool Party seam binding and cardstock along with a few rhinestones. The DSP is from my retired stash but we do have similar in the current annual catalogue.
Hope the recipient likes it!
I do hope it doesn't look too shoddy as gift packaging!
Thank you for joining me, I do hope you've enjoyed your visit today!

London Die Cut

 ---------------------------------------------------

        HOSTESS CODE E2US7UHP

----------------------------------------------------
I needed to make a card , good thing I didn't expect this one to be quick - took me ages! A slight departure from using Stampin' Up! products, I've had this die for a long time. It's totally CASED, though I'm not sure who made the original but I believe it was a framed picture posted on pinterest.

The buses, taxis, lamp posts, phone and pillar box are finished with Crystal effects. The numerals, stamped onto the window sheet behind the London Eye are from the Memorable Moments stamp set, stamped in versamark, a little heat and stick, then covered in glitter.
I'm pleased to say that the card was well received!
Thank you for joining me, I do hope you've enjoyed your visit today!

Tiny Gift

 ---------------------------------------------------

        HOSTESS CODE E2US7UHP

----------------------------------------------------
Morning all!
How was your weekend? I was a little unsure how mine was going to pan out. Saturday was quiet but went to Ally Pally on Sunday. Was nice to catch up with some friends there. I was introduced to some fab new people too including Brenda Brown (Bumblebees & Butterflies). I hope you got to enjoy your weekend too.
Today I want to show you a simple covered container. I've a tiny gift for someone - I wonder if she can guess it's for her? I'd thought to make one of our treat bags but would need to extend to increase the size. I made the whole thing, stamped and embossed, was pretty ..... but not large enough. Note to self: don't craft when you're tired!
Then I remembered some Crystal Light containers that I'd kept after making the swaps last March, shown below, which contained the drink sachets.
So, a quick root around in my box, a little stamping with Crazy About You and Flower Patch. This is what I came up with.

The sentiment is from Petite Pairs, I masked the word 'Baby'.
The photo doesn't show the colours quite as bright as the are - luscious Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow. But you get the idea. Finished off with a little Silver Sparkle dazzling Details, a rhinestone and Hello Honey Quilted Cotton Ribbon, so soft.
Hmm, something not quite right - needs trim around the lid but, as it's ridged, nothing will stick long enough. Maybe some trim around the top?

I do hope it doesn't look too shoddy as gift packaging!
Thank you for joining me, I do hope you've enjoyed your visit today!

What a Tranquil Page

 ---------------------------------------------------

        HOSTESS CODE E2US7UHP ***
see note at foot of today's post.

----------------------------------------------------
Well, hello everyone! I'm back from my holiday(Friday a 5am) and went off to a scrapbook retreat for the weekend on Friday afternoon. Possible not the best decision I've ever made since I didn't achieve much.
The photo below shows a page made by a lovely lady by the name of Emma Davies. Whilst it isn't made up entirely from Stampin' Up! supplies you could certainly switch products so that it is.
I've asked Emma if I can share this page since I found it such a peaceful looking page/layout. I do hope you like it too!

*** Hostess Code ***
If you are placing an order for less than £150 please use the current Hostess Code (above) and support Lelly Jelly - Thank you! If your order is for £150 or more then please don't use this code as you'll become hostess and will receive the rewards. Please Note: The code changes every 30 day, check for the latest code before ordering.
Thanks!

Thank you for joining me, I do hope you've enjoyed your visit today!
