Onstage Live Swaps pt 2

I'm back today with the rest of the swaps I received at Onstage Live, Amsterdam.
 So varied!
I love that some are perfect for beginners and others slightly more taxing for the advanced crafter.
I hope you've had some inspiration from the swaps in both today's post and previous one.
So, how did I lug all these swaps around?
You've heard me wittering on for a little while about our Onstage events. These events are only open to demonstrators.
As many of you know, Onstage replaces out old Stampin' Up!convention. When we arrive to register, we receive a bag which contains goodies, including a brand new stamp set from the upcoming catalogue. Below, you can see most of the contents of this year's bag. Perfect transport for the swaps!
Love that the pens in this years bag are also a stylus for our phones and tablets.
If you'd like to have the opportunity to attend the next Onstage event then join my team! Choose £130 of products for just £99! You don't even have to demonstrate - just purchase for yourself, friends and family. Contact me for more information - or phone 07725 217695.
Have a super craft bank Holiday!

Onstage Live Swaps pt 1

I've been promising you photos of the swaps and have the first half here today. As you can see, they are very varied, which is great as there are lots of different styles to choose from.
From cards and card fronts to 3D items
Though I have to be honest, if it had chocolate inside, the 3D item came home empty!
How can you possibly pick favourites from these???
So much time goes into these creations...
...a lot of hard work too!
Stampin' Up! Demos love to swap -
We get so much inspiration from these swaps which we share with you!
I will share some more swaps with you this weekend.

Stylized Birthday

I know that I promised you swaps today but, in all honesty, I haven't photographed them yet - I promise that I WILL get round to doing it!
Instead I'm sharing this month's Just for Fun class cards. We focused on the single stamp 'Stylized Birthday'. Dies used are Lots of Labels and Stitched shape Framelits.
First, is a bright, zingy card with a tempting turquoise base which is quick and great for using up your DSP scraps.
Now for something in the more sombre colours of cherry cobbler and smoky slate, which are lifted a little by the copper embossing, copper ribbon from the upcoming annual catalogue and a bit of copper gardening tape...generally used to keep the snails off your plant pots! The muted background stamp is from Timeless Textures.
This next card is a little pretty in wisteria wonder, the base card is stamped using Grateful Bunch, the small daisy like flowers are from the same set. They've been punched out with the coordinating punch and finished with clear Wink of Stella (which, unfortunately, you can't see easily in the photo) and a few rhinestones.
The final card, and my favourite, is in the retiring delightful dijon, very vanilla and basic grey. The stamp set, which I've had for months and only just opened, is Wherever You Go. I've also used the super washi tape from the Urban Underground suite.
I had to stamp a little on the inside too!.
I hope you've enjoyed the cards we've shared today. Look forward to your company on Wednesday!
Have a super weekend,

My Onstage Swaps

For Onstage Live I made 40 general swaps using the Badges and Banners stamp set also a dotty stamp from Dragonfly Dreams.
Here's a close up -

I also took a small gift for my friend and fellow demo, Kim, who recently attained the title of Gold Elite. That's a huge achievement which takes time, dedication, hard work and tons of creative skill. I added a little shaker card in her favourite shades.

Of course, you need to decorate the envelope too!
Front and back!
Her little gift, a mini planner, was hidden inside this box...
My downline gifts were Stampin' Up! paper snips with an initial on them (our snips always seem to go missing) and a personalised bone folder. My own has already gone missing! But shown below is one with just the team name and my own snips, you get the idea.
Not an exciting gift, but very useful!
I was the lucky recipient of some lovely gifts.
This one is from my upline, Natalie and contained a fab stamp set - Love Sparkles - from the summer catalogue which I hadn't even noticed!!!

Loved the personalised packaging!
This is from Cathryn -
This is what is hidden inside....
Lots of goodies!
This beautifully decorated journal and pen was packaged in a matching bag and is from Yvonne..
This next gift has rather special packaging too and is from Kim ( she of the Gold Elite!). Inside was a delicious handmade mango marshmallow. Yum!
Swish, eh! Obviously, the content didn't last long!!!
As today's post is rather picture heavy, I'll end for now and get back to you at the weekend with swaps.
Have a good week,

Lesley x

A Very Happy 60th!

I returned from our event, Onstage Live in Amsterdam, last weekend and it's taken me most of this week to get over all the fun and excitement! I will be sharing the swaps I received in my next post but, for today, I'm sharing a card I made last month for a special lady's big birthday.

Using the Confetti Celebration stamp set along with Large Letter and Stitched Shape Framelit dies. The DSP is Festive Birthday ,card stock is Melon Mambo.

Inside is a shaker card with a personalised little verse. The shaker is filled with sprinkles embellishments and punched stars.
I hope she liked it and had a super day!

Beautiful Happy Mail!

A very short post today in which I share with you a beautiful card from Melinda Kok.
Please excuse the poor photography skills! Melinda had shown this card online and I just happened to be the first one to comment on it.  She'd decided to mail it to the person whop left that first comment so I am the lucky recipient!
Thank you so much for sharing the love Melinda!

Onstage Live-Amsterdam

Tomorrow I, along with hundreds of other demonstrators, will attend our Onstage Live event in Amsterdam.
It's always an exciting time for us as we gather together to share ideas and swap cards. Over the next couple of days there will be awards, gifts and prizes as we celebrate the achievements of our colleagues. We will watch demonstrations, craft, see new products from our upcoming annual catalogue...and get that paper copy in our hands!!! Not only a whole month in advance of our customers but also days before other demonstrators, some of whom will be at local events or watching live streaming online. That's not to mention the shared meals and fun!
So, as you can imagine, I've been uber busy. Making WOW! group swaps, general swaps, and gifts.
Here's a sneak peek of what I'm taking with me.
So, that's 8 gifts, 40 general swaps and 8 WOW! group swaps. Doesn't look much, does it? Taken me hours! Let's hope everyone is pleased!
Off to pack now, there's a small post scheduled for Saturday and then I'll be back  with an update on Onstage Live!

Beautiful Dozen

Since first spotting the stamp set 'Beautiful You' at our Onstage event in November, demonstrators had a hunch that this set was going to be popular. In fact there are dozens of samples all over social media and the internet on a daily basis.
Last week I held my own 'Beautiful You' class. I made 4 sets of cards, the ladies made one from each set, taking home enough supplies to finish creating the complete dozen. Below are the cards all on one small board...
The first 3 are paper pieced using Urban District DSP. Now, paper piecing has been around for a very long time but was recently been a popular for this stamp set after the lovely Linda Kasparian created a card using it.
The second 3 are stamped onto crumb cake note cards. To enable us to use and show off bright colours, we first applied a layer of white to the images, using either white craft ink and a blender pen or one of our new watercolour pencils in white. Colour pencil or ink was then layered on top and blended. This can be done with a water brush or blender pen.
The third set of 3 are made using the 'smoosh' techniques which has become very popular from a video made by my super friend and team mate, Kim Fee. I've 'smoohsed' one of these far better than the other two, No matter, they make for different results.
The final set of 3 are simple, stamped white note cards which look as if they've been coloured with a pen squiggle. In fact, the squiggle is one of two abstract stamps in the set which also comprises 3 lady images and 8 sentiments which cover a few different occasions.

In all, 13 stamps in the set all for £25 clear mount/£35 wood mount, that's great value!
Below you can view the set.
Available from my online shop, link below.
I do hope you've had a bit of inspiration during your visit today. Have a good weekend!
